Spiro Peçi is the founding partner of the firm. In his early career he served as head of the Prosecution Office of the districts of Saranda and Durrës. In 1991 he was appointed as the Deputy Prosecutor General of Albania. In 1995 he started to practice law as attorney and within a few years he transformed his law practice into a thriving law firm. In 2002 Mr Peçi was appointed Minister of Justice of Albania and later on he served as the State Advocate of Albania, independent member of the Parliament and legal advisor of the President of the Republic of Albania. Mr Peçi is an established authority in the field of rule of law and human rights in Albania. He enjoys a reputation as a professional of high ethics and integrity. Mr Peçi has undertaken and led many important initiatives to reform the legal landscape of Albania. By decree of the President of the Republic of Albania, he has been decorated with the Gold “Naim Frashëri” Order, with the motivation “For the contribution of his values in the defense of constitutional principles and human rights, in the politics of modern Albania and for his active role in the rule of law and protection of parliamentarism”. With his wide experience, Mr. Peçi plays a crucial role in advising the team of the firm on strategic planning as well as on complex and sensitive cases.
